Information returned from the object picker for object "XXXXXX XXXXX" was incomplete. The object will not be processed.
I have a Vista Ult. 32bit workstation that was a part of the 2003 domain, which was recently moved to another domain 2008. When I try to add any domain group to any local Local group on that Vista computer I get Information returned from the object picker for object "XXXXXX XXXXX" was incomplete. The object will not be processed. I didn't have this problem when computer was a part of the old domain.

Hi, First, please check if the other computers in the Windows Server 2008 domain have the same issues. Please check if the information in the following thread helps: Error Adding Vista to a Domain Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. MTU it is! Had exactly the same problem, and rejoining the server didn't solve the problem for me either. After days of searching I revisited this post and noticed net_tech's last post about MTU (jumbo frames) Set all advanced network proppertys in HP tool back to default (turned off jumbo frames) on client and DC and even without reboot, the object picker worked again. Just wanted to share this. Best regards, DavyP
